Getting There
- Driving: ~2.5 hours from Sydney via Princes Highway → Jervis Bay Road
- Public Transport: Train to Bomaderry (Nowra), then a bus to Huskisson
Itinerary & Highlights
9:00 AM – Depart from Huskisson
- Rent a kayak or bring your own (rentals available at Huskisson Wharf)
- Paddle south along the protected waters of Jervis Bay
10:30 AM – Stop at Plantation Point
- Rest break at this quiet, picturesque beach
- Look out for dolphins and sea turtles
12:00 PM – Arrive at Hyams Beach
- Enjoy a break at one of the whitest sandy beaches in the world
- Take a short walk along the Hyams Beach Trail
- Picnic lunch or café stop in Hyams Beach village
1:30 PM – Paddle Back to Huskisson
- Keep an eye out for stingrays and tropical fish near the shoreline
- Arrive back at Huskisson Wharf around 3:00 PM
