Getting There
- Driving: Park at Thredbo or Charlotte Pass (shuttle options available)
- Public Transport: Limited—best accessed by car
Itinerary & Highlights
Day 1
- 9:00 AM – Depart Thredbo via Dead Horse Gap Track
- 12:00 PM – Break at Seamans Hut (historic mountain refuge)
- 3:00 PM – Reach Charlotte Pass, set up camp
- 6:00 PM – Sunset over the Main Range
Day 2
- 6:30 AM – Sunrise hike along the Main Range
- 9:00 AM – Summit Mount Kosciuszko from Charlotte Pass
- 2:00 PM – Descend via Main Range Track, return to Thredbo
