- Start: 7:30 AM (Meet at Perisher Ski Resort)
- Route: Perisher → Guthega → Blue Cow area
- Duration: Full-day (5-6 hours on snow)

Getting There
- Driving: Snow chains required; park at Perisher or Smiggin Holes
- Public Transport: Train to Canberra, then bus to Jindabyne & Perisher
Itinerary & Highlights
8:00 AM – Meet at Perisher & Gear Up
- Rent snowshoes or backcountry skis (available at Perisher rental shops)
- Safety briefing for snow conditions
9:00 AM – Begin Snowshoe Trek
- Head towards Guthega for stunning snow-covered valley views
- Spot native wildlife tracks in the snow
12:00 PM – Lunch Break at a Scenic Spot
- Enjoy hot drinks & snacks in a sheltered area
2:30 PM – Return to Perisher
- Hike or ski back down to Perisher Village
- Celebrate with a hot chocolate at a local café
